Athens, Greece, July 31-August 8, 21 entries. |

All starts were arranged at 3 pm to correspond to the peak of the wind strength. Villalonga won the first race while Malte never caught up after restarting because of a PMS. Rohart won the second. Malte then won the next two with Villalonga winning another in race 5. Malte won the sixth and Chivikov the last, but Malte had done enough to win the regatta.

24. Junior European Championship 1990 |
Quiberon, France, 20 entries from 12 countries. |
Fredrik Loof was consistently the best sailor winning the shortened series by 13.3 points, Second placed Xavier Garcia won two races, against Loof s one win, but lost control in the middle of the series in two windy races. Third placed Uwe Thielemann won the first race and was still leading after a 3rd in the second, but likewise picked up two bad results in the windy races. In contrast, fourth placed Michael Fellmann, scored a 1st and 4th in the windy races and higher scores in the light winds.
25. Junior European Championship 1991 |
Gdansk, Poland, August 18-25, 28 entries from 11 countries. |
The wind ranged from Force 2-5 with excellent weather conditions. Xavier Garcia led from the start and won the first 4 races. Then a DSQ in race 5 for rocking put the pressure on. Going into the last race a 17th would have been good enough but he held out for a 5th and won by 20 points ahead of second overall Carl Akerson. Garcia was sailing Jose Doreste's old Roga Finn.
26. Junior European Championship 1992 |
Caprilo, Italy, July 3-13, 27 entries from 11 countries. |
Sailed in generally light and very shifty conditions, the week provided very difficult sailing conditions made worse by the arrival of thunderstorms during two of the races. Sebastien Godefroid led from the second race, (which he won) on and by the last race was only threatened by Emilios Papathanasiou who had closed the gap by winning the sixth race. Sebastien won the final race as well to win the championship.

27. Junior European Championship 1993 |
L'Estartit, Spain, June 3-12, 16 entries. |
For the first time, the event was combined with the Seniors, the two fleets using different marks. Most people were tipping Andreas Buchert from Germany, but the convincing winner was Dominik Zycki from Poland. His 10-3-4-3-2-1-9 eventually gave him a 12.6 point lead over Andreas. The bronze also seemed destined to go to Poland but Mateusz Kusznierewicz lost a protest in the last race, which meant that third place went to Italian Simone Cercello.
28. Junior European Championship 1994 |
